it puts you to sleep, but you might become dependant on it... i also hear it gives you bad dreams on occasion.

Depends on your definition of "good." I take them occasionally to avoid lying awake all night stressing the night before a presentation or exam, and they do make me sleep. In about half an hour, I get downright apathetic and go to bed. I wake up 7 or 8 hours later feeling fine and functional. This beats being exhausted from pointlessly worrying all night by a long shot.
However, I think they are not something you can take all the time without risk of dependency. If you have trouble going to sleep every night, these may not be a good solution. Also, my husband had a prescription for them at one point, but he wouldn't take them because he found the apathy "creepy."
Also, remember that different people are affected differently by the same medication. Just because something works for me or doesn't work for me doesn't necessarily mean it'll be the same for you. This wasn't the first thing my doctor got me to try to help me sleep.

but that one is good.. remember if you take
those pills dont drive..
is better if you use valerian root tea..
