I drink a very low dose of xanax the generic 3.75 @ 3p and i have a cold can i drink a cold medicine at night?!

read the labels, avoid anything containing ethanol or phenylpropanolomine.
Xanax comes in standard strengths. they range from 0.25, 0.5, 1mg and 2mg. in adults, we usually dispense it in the tablet form. From what I know, 3.75mg is a quite high dose. Why are you using liquid? If your cold medicine contains benadryl, or ofter anti-histamine, the side effects of drowsiness, or decreased respiratory function may occur. Please call your pharmacy !
Try one that is specifically made for night time, such as Ny-Quil for nights--that'll actually help you sleep....
