Has anyone had manual lymph drainage?!
Question: Has anyone had manual lymph drainage.?
Answers:
I'm a qualified massage therapist and have been doing Lymph drainage massage for ages.. After this type of massage, you may feel a bit dry in the mouth and a bit "fuzzy" in the head.. Important to have a glass of water, juice etc after the massage, and keep up fluids (unless you are retaining fluids and are on a restriction) for remainder of the day to help flush out the system..
It's a nice slow massage, and feels relaxing to have done..
make sure you receive it from a qualified masseurHealth Question & Answer

From someone who has received it........Yes.. It's great.. A bit more gentler then regular massage and very effective.. It can help detox the system as the lymph system carries waste from the body.. Drink a lot of water afterwards as you need to flush the system..
Some practitioners have told me that it's not recommended when you are feeling run down and beginning to get a cold as it may push it to surface.. I also would think twice or seek professional advice if there is a lymph condition existing..
Body brushing before a shower also stimulate the lymph system
