Need 2 know if liquid methadone in a regular plastic with lid container that the Dr.. gives it 2 you in, does it lose any potency or effectivness if left in storage or medicine cabinet for a while.? I was told it loses its potency after a month.? is that true.?if i get a month supply would my last doses be not as effective as my first week or two's.?Health Question & Answer

Many clinics suggest that it be kept in the refrigerator to prevent bacteria from growing and keep it fresh.. In addition, I would recommend that you keep it in a lock box in the fridge and NEVER in a medicine cabinet because if someone were to take it (you never know these days) and die you could be charged..
