Many drug companies have programs to give free or greatly reduced priced medications to those who truly can't afford them.. Contact the manufacturers of the companies to see if you qualify.. Most companies make it simple: the doctor has to write a letter stating you need the medication and you can't afford it.. They then send you a card that entitles you to receive the medication for free or very cheaply at the pharmacy..Health Question & Answer

What you need to start taking is Liquid calcium.. Everyone knows about the benefits to bones and teeth and hair, but it is also good for hypertension (high blood pressure), insomnia, irritability, muscle spasms and panic attacks.. I would recommend also taking magnessium with it as this will aid the absorption.. Everyone over the age of 35 should be taking this, but most people don't.. The signs are there but most don't know how to read them.. If you are thirsty you would drink water, this is easy, but most can't see the signs for lack of calcium..Health Question & Answer

Alternative medicine does not affect high blood pressure.. If you are obese or overweight, you will need to lose the weight.. If you eat a fatty diet, you will need to change your diet to low fat.. If you eat salty foods, you will need to change to a low sodium diet.. If you are inactive, you will need to exercise regularly.. The key to non-pharmaceutical management of blood pressure is prevention..

Well, you have to lay very low on the sodium - salt mostly.. Look at what you eat.. It will be a long haul to control blood pressure.. Stay away from fast food as there is half the daily amount of sodium or more in a hamburger.. Canned foods have a lot of sodium.. You have to eat healthy.. Don't rely on medicine too much as the cause is diet..Health Question & Answer
