Kava kava is traditionally used by herbalists as a remedy for nervousness and insomnia.. it is also a mild diuretic so you need to ensure that you are still drinking plenty of fresh filtered water so as not to get dehydrated................ it will also help to relieve cramping due to muscle spasms..
The best teas to drink are the loose leaf and organic varieties ........ for the commercial and tea bag varieties have had so much of the goodness pulverised from them that they could never be of any therapeutic value.......... the organic loose leaf varieties are still rich in their essential oils..
Caution : Long - term use can cause liver damage ?
hope this helps a bit
