Question: If a doctor asks me if i smoke.......?
and i do smoke, but not cigs.. what should i do.? even if they dont make me get a urine test.? will they tell the police.? or is there patient privacy.?

Hi :) When the doc asks you if you smoke, he means cigs.. So say no, After this he'll ask you if you use drugs, tell him what you smoke, he'll want to know how much and how often :)
He cant call the Cops, the only way you can be arrested is if they find it on you or in your car, even then, cops will give you a ticket if it's a small amount (personal use)..
Get ready for a lecture though! So be prepared, He's more than likely going to tell you to stop, but ask why! Tell him to show you or let you know of any evidence that proves that what you smoke is harmful...... Don't go for the all time sermon of "just because"...... Name a study, point to concrete evidence not the school propaganda of "Just say No"! :)

It is called patient confidentiality andthey do not tell the police.. It is best to tell your doctor any drugs, perscription or otherwise, so he will know what medication you can use for various health problems..
