Question: When I have the cold is there anyway to minimise the pressure in my head.?

Take a Tylenol Allergy and Cold tablet.. (Or just allergy if you cannot find the combined one)..

also, find a large bowl...... boil some water and pour it into the bowl...... let the steam blow for about 2 minutes then place your head over the bowl while a towel is over your head and around the bowl (so the steam doesn't leak out) and breathe in.. Only do this for 2 minutes or less though.. Or if you want an easier way, sit in the bathroom on the toilet and run the shower with hot water only while the bathroom steams up and again, breathe it in for only 2 minutes..Health Question & Answer

It helps if you can be in a room with a lot of moisture in the air, so if you don't own a humidifier, you can put a large pot of water on to boil, then after it gets to boiling, turn it down to a simmer.. Keep this up as long as possible to put some moisture into the air in your home, but if you are tired then make sure you turn it off before you fall asleep..

also, drinking lots of water and/or herbal teas can help, as it thins the mucus in your head allowing your body to get rid of it easier..

This might sound stupid, but this acctualy works, get a lemon and boil up some hot water, peel the lemon ad squeeze the juice into the cup of boiled water.. Stir it then add little (i meen little) pieces of lemon, and drink it all in one including the little pieces of lemon..
