haha, my nose has been all pluggy and such.. so i used that stuff and i just put some inside each one of my nostrils and i just now read the drug facts and it says that your aren't supposed to do that, can anyone tell me if thats......bad or what.?Health Question & Answer

Way back when......it was often used as you described.. Any petroleum product will dry the skin & the company advises us not to use it that way anymore.. If you want to keep on, protect your skin with a light coat of olive oil first, then use the Vaporub..
For your next cold, have on hand pure Eucalyptus oil and/or Peppermint oil, dilute with olive oil & dab that instead.. also put the oils in a pot of simmering water and lean over and inhale the steam with eyes tightly closed..Health Question & Answer

Just breathe it in.. If you keep putting some inside your nostrils you're going to irritate your mucous membranes so badly that you may get nose bleeds very frequently and the sore won't heal..
Put some on the skin under the nose if you like, or just breathe it in.. You can get Vick vaporizer to vaporize in your nose.. This one is safe..

you should be ok, there is something i get that works great, its called ayre.. (air) i am not sure on the spelling.. but it really works great without the smell or harshnessHealth Question & Answer
