Butt Massage Question??!

Question: Butt Massage Question.?.?
Okay,
when i was in nyc i got a massage in chinatown and there was almost no draping.. Almost immediatly the woman pulled off the drape.. I was still wearing boxers.. Then when she asked me where to massage.. I told her my glutes were tight.. (i had to point, she spoke virtually no english) She then proceeded to pull down my boxers to my ankles and massage my bare buttocks.. It was a great massage.. I was wondering if this is legal and if i could get this done in Texas.?

thanks,

ok, so yeah.. Draping isn't a requirement for any kind of massage.. It is there to provide comfort from the cold (bare skin, oil, slight breeze).. The only requirement for a legal massage in any state in America, is that the anus, nipples, and genitals are not touched in any way.. I have had many people ask to have the draping removed because, to be honest, from a therapist's point of view, it gets in the way.. Way too much time is spent draping a client's leg to make sure that nothing is exposed because most Americans are afraid of their own skin.. My CMT removes the draping when he works on me for that very same reason! And the location of the massage studio has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the massage or the integrity of the therapist.. And neither does the price.. (I know some people aren't going to like my answer, but hey, this is how I see it, and I have a legal, honest business, draping optional..)Health Question & Answer

Yes, it's legal but I would suggest you go to a more legitimate practice instead of somewhere like chinatown.. You should still be draped at all times if they are massaging your glutes then your glute cleft (butt crack) should have been at covered up.. If I said I wanted my glutes massaged and they proceeded to take my boxers off I would have been mortified, usually they ask you before they massage you if you go to a more legit one you'll feel more comfortable and they'll explain a lot moreHealth Question & Answer

I've had full body massages, and where I live, as long as it's done appropriately, there is nothing wrong with it..

As far as the laws in Texas, I couldn't tell you.. Your best move would be to phone a few massage salons, and ask them directly.. I doubt that anything you asked would shock them, as I'm sure they receive a bevy of calls about the wheres and hows..

Good Luck!

I would bet you could find on in any state that would do this.. A good massuse does not care what you want massaged as long as you're not cocky, ha..................Health Question & Answer
