i went today to check my vision and see if i need new glasses so my doctor starts with the normal check up and then he starts asking me if i have allergies and i dont at the moment then he lets me sit on this chair and made me put my chin on the chin thing and he starts making a light go through my eyes and he keeps on doing it over and over and uses diffrent lenses and the light becomes more intense and he tells me i need to go check up in the hospital specialized in eyes or somethn and he tell me to but patanol and i was wondering wut can this medicine do to me
im only 15 if that helps i never had eye problems b4 except for allergies in spring..
wut r the side effects and wut can it cause to me in general..

It sounds like he has seen something at the back of your eye that has caused him some concerns.. It might be worthwhile getting your mum or dad to talk to him and then go and gt a check up at the hospital.. But he is not concerned about allergies ok , you should get this checked out as soon as possible it is probably nothing but why take the riskHealth Question & Answer
