zinc pills worked best for me for my skin, out of every single thing that I have tried, and believe me when I say I have tried most everything out there on the market.. They are not very expensive, they are sold at groceries and pharmacies along with other vitamins.. They do not have to be prescribed, and there is no age limit.. However, if you are under 18, be cautious about how many you take, if you buy the 50mg dosages, take one pill every other day and monitor your health.. If you feel nauseous or sick it may mean you have too much zinc in your system.. they help any type of skin..Health Question & Answer

There is a book called the Physician's Desk Reference (PDR) which has a companion edition for OTC drugs, herbal medicines and vitamins and minerals..
