Many psychedelics contain dimethyltryptamine. It expands your mind and makes you have other perceptions and ideas that never came to you before you had the psychedelic experience. Drugs such as LSD can help you use other parts of your brain that were never used before. Once they've been stimulated your ego can disappear and ultimately you're a changed person. Usually, its a good thing.
