Question: Which is better slow releasing ginkgo or regular vitamin ginkgo.?
im thinking of starting to take ginkgo but someone told me to try the slow releasing ginkgo vitamins vs the regular ginkgo vitamins. what are the difference.?Health Question & Answer

It's actually up to personal preference. With a regular capsule of Ginkgo, you get a larger dose all at once and it slowly peters off throughout the day. With the slow release (commonly a tablet), a smaller amount is released steadily throughout the day.

It's like drinking a quart of water all at once and not getting any more water for several hours vs drinking a 1/4 cup of water every several minutes... you get the same amount for the day, but some people prefer a steady supply instead of dumping it all at once.
