I'm taking Doxycycline and I was wondering if it would affect the medication if I smoke weed.

I'm pretty sure smoking weed doesn't really effect the medication. In the past I've been perscribed with seroquil, prozac, lamictal, colonzapan, abilify and other medications and i've been smoking weed like religously and it had no effect on any medication i've been on.Health Question & Answer

There is no obvious interaction that comes to mind. The main problem with antibiotic interference occurs from alteration of hepatic cytochrome enzymes, something marijuana does not particularly do. I see no reason off hand that they would have any strong interaction with each other.
