Is there a good home remedy for a toothache?!

Make a paste out of ground cloves and water. Put it on the tooth. This is only temporary until you get to a dentist. Eventually the tooth will hurt worse than the cloves can take care of.Health Question & Answer

I suggest clove oil. If that is not available, make a paste of cloves and water, as jd ma recommended.

This is only a temporary fix. You will need to see a dentist. Usually, when a tooth is really hurting, it is a sign that the cavity is very bad. You might need root canal. I speak from my personal experience. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Health Question & Answer

These two sites have a MULTITUDE of rememdies for toothaches, so you can pick which one you like. Garlic seems to be the most recommended.

also, if you brush your teeth at least once a week with a light mixture of baking soda and salt... it will help keep your teeth and gums clean and free from bacteria... perhaps preventing anymore toothaches.
