Natural remedy/cure for cushings syndrome?!
Question: Natural remedy/cure for cushings syndrome.?
My husband and I have done some research, and have 'self-diagnosed' him as possibly having cushings syndrome and high cortisol levels. The only therapies/remedies I could find online were surgery, or prescription drugs (which niether of those appeal to us)... does anyone know of a natural remedy or cure.? Any specific foods that will help the situation, or lower the levels of cortisol.? Right now he's just trying to lower his stress, start taking a multivitamin and cut out all caffiene/refined sugars and processed foods.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

It is foolish to treat any condition based on "self diagnosis". There are a number of conditions that share symptoms with Cushings and Cushings itself has a number of causes.
Your husband should see his doctor for a definite diagnosis and treatment. He can ask the doctor about non surgical treatments.Health Question & Answer
