ok, if you are a non-smoker of weed and it just became legal out of the blue, would you start smoking.? (im wondering because the Gov says if it becomes legal everyone will become addicted to it, even though its not addictive in the 1st place)Health Question & Answer

the affects of cannabis are far less likely to cause you harm against the likes of booze and ciggies..
however.. i think people who do smoke cannabis would most likely stop if it became legal.. due to the fact that they would most likely come pre rolled and the taxes on it would be incredible.

I smoked weed for thirty years, sometimes heavily, but decided one day to purify my body and just quit. I also gave up meth, nicotine and now rarely even drink alcohol or caffeinated drinks. I know nicotine was hard for me to give up but weed and meth were not a problem, still I didn't use meth for very long. Everybody's different, so I don't know if weed could be addictive. I don't smoke weed anymore but if it was made legal, I still wouldn't jsut because it isn't for me. The problem with it becoming legal is that the government would loose the money that all offenders have to pay if caught and convicted (huge precentage) and then there is the underworld drug trade that would lose thier prime income on drugs being imported and sold. It would be best if it became legal, but there would be those that would want to try it since it is no longer a controled substance. Health Question & Answer

I might smoke it on the weekend, or after a stressful day.
Then I wouldn't have a hangover.
But I do believe it is psychologically addicting. I had a co-worker who was always cranky when she didn't have any. After she received her supply, she was happy as pie!
