You've gotten some good answers on how to minimize your joints getting worse... drink water, stay hydrated, check your diet... but if you would like to get your joints healthier, there are several natural ingredients that help the health of the joints. The most popular ones are Microlactin, Tart Cherries, Glucosamine, Chondroitin, MSM, Hyaluronic Acid, Litozin (Danish Rose Hips), and Bromelain.
The only thing to really watch out for is allergies. Glucosamine is typically from Shellfish and Microlactin is from milk. As long as you're not allergic to those, you should have no problem. Good luck!

I think you are having arthritis. It does not have any allopathy treatment. If you know Ayurveda, there are some oils which you can apply on the affected area and massage.

There are two oils called Pinda Thailam and Kottanchukkathi Thailam which are available in Ayurvedha shops. You take about one tablespoon of each and then heat it. When it is warm apply it on the knees and massage gently. Sit in a corner and after half an hour wash the area with soap and hot water. Do this for fifteen days. You pain would have gone.

OK. If you are not an Indian still you could do the thing with any oil you get and carry out the above. It will take more time but you will get relief.

I had the same problem and get relief from the Ayurvedha oils only.Health Question & Answer

My mom and my grandmother has had arthritis and it seems to run in the family as i am starting to get arthritis in my fingers. The list below is the top 5 home remedys which have helped me,

Dandelion is the remedy of choice-its leaf has diuretic quality that increases output from the kidneys, while its root is a mild laxative and liver tonic that helps preventing constipation. Make infusion of its leaves and decoction from its root, and use both for about 7 days.

Stiffness and pain can be got rid by blending Rosemary and lavender oils or Marjoram and Juniper. It will improve blood supply to muscles and also help in speedy removal of toxins.

Black gingerly seeds, soaked overnight in water, have been found to be effective in preventing frequent joint pains. The water in which the seeds are soaked should also be taken along with the seeds in the morning. One of the best home remedies for arthritis.

Drinking water kept overnight in a copper container also serves good purpose. This water has traces of copper, which helps strengthen the muscular system. For the same reason wearing a copper ring or bracelet will also help.

Massage with oil is an ideal method, which can restore joints.

Hope this helps

My gma and myself both go through pain to make you want, to od on pain pills but try to refrain ourselves, my new fave contact answered this or stared you so its on the top of my list of contact .? But if all else fail like it has for me and I'm only 42 , god gave man the brains to make some medications. You are way to young to suffer for the rest of your life like my grandma has for most of hers. Best Wishes with your painHealth Question & Answer

drink only water. anything that can cause you to retain fluid or swell (like sodas) will make it worse. Water will flush the main system as best as anything.
For the pain there are willow root type teas from health food stores among other options but be careful, some of that stuff can send you to the bathroom rather quickly if used wrong.
Otherwise a good soak in the tub will relieve some of the pressure for a short time. Health Question & Answer

Are you eating enough foods rich in calcium and magnesium.?.? Calcium and magnesium work in tandem in the body ........ without sufficient calcium in your body you will suffer from irritability and moodiness, achy bones, insomnia, headaches and migraines, digestive upsets such as bloating and constipation ...... if you choose to supplement, magnesium and calcium when combined should be at a ratio of twice as much calcium as magnesium ...... a chelated form is the most assimilable for your body (easiest to digest) such as citrate .........oxides and sulphides are notoriously hard to digest ......... get it in a powder .......... If you consume lots of soft drinks, pop, sodas, be aware that because they're high in phosphorus, you may be depleting your body of calcium and increasing your chances of osteoporosis.......... also, large quantities of fat, oxalic acid (found in chocolate, spinach, Swiss chard, parsley, beet greens and rhubarb) and phytic acid (found in grains) are capable of preventing proper calcium absorption....... too much caffeine such as coffee and tea will also inhibit calcium absorption ..... drink it a few hours apart from your meals to avoid disrupting your nutrient absorption and cut right back on it if you can.

magnesium is needed for healthy nerve and muscle functioning and of course for heart health .... it is known as the antistress mineral and will help you enormously in dealing with everyday stress.

without sufficient magnesium your body will simply leach it from your bones where the greatest stores are held and you'll suffer muscle twitching, nervous tics and nervous problems, headaches and migraines and constipation........ foods rich in magnesium will increase the production of hydrochloric acid in your tummy and aid in digestion thus helping to eliminate any issues you may have with constipation .... foods rich in magnesium will also help to lower high blood pressure.

eat more foods rich in both calcium and magnesium such as leafy and green vegies, kale, broccolli.... eat them as close to their natural state as possible, raw if you can to get the most benefit ...... also fresh tuna and salmon, organic nuts and seeds like almonds, brazil nuts and sunflower seeds........ organic with the nuts and seeds to avoid the nasty sulfites they use to "preserve" the commercial varieties that will upset sensitive bodies.

you should see a marked improvement within a few days if you are eating enough leafy and green vegies and nuts and seeds buddy .......... have a handfull of almonds at morning tea, a bowl of steamed greens and vegies with lunch, fruit for afternoon tea ........... oranges and carrotts are also rich in calcium .......... and greens and vegies again with your dinner .......... all very easy to digest too .

Listen to your body though ..... eat one thing at a time and see how you feel in a couple of hours .... food intolerances may also producing arthritic type symptoms....... simply put, eliminate the foods that don't agree with you.

**EDIT**
Some of the most common foods that people are either allergic or intolerant to are dairy products, wheat, oats, eggs, corn, peanuts, shellfish, tomatoes and strawberries ...... i, for one am intolerant to dairy, wheat, oats, eggs, corn, tomatoes, soy, man made sugar and a plethora of chemical additives ....... i don't have any aches and pains anymore because i avoid the foods that trash my health ..... start your search for foods that are aggravating your body with these foods and buy a book called "What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About IBS" by Richard N.Ash, M.D..... brilliantly eye opening mate..... the impact of food on your body is vast and mind blowing to say the least.
***

Calcium needs sufficient vitamin D to be effectively assimilate too .......... that can be as simple as ensuring you get at least 15 minutes per day of safe sun exposure ..... vitamin D is known as the sunshine vitamin ....... or eat fresh tuna and salmon which are rich in calcium, magnesium and vitamin D.

Vitamin C deficiency can also contribute to sore and aching joints .... eat more foods rich in vitamin C ie ~ leafy and green vegies again !! strawberries, blackberries, watermelon ....... avoid the nightshades like tomatoes and potatoes as they may aggravate your condition.

Pump up your intake of fresh filtered water ........ you need at least 8 glasses per day ..... your body will have a terrible time digesting food, transporting nutrients, lubricating your joints, breathing, thinking, doing anything really if you are dehydrated ....... you'd be amazed at how just being a little bit dehydrated can affect your stress, energy and mood levels.

hope this helps u mate

Start early
The earlier an accurate diagnosis is made and treatment started, the better. Early treatment can often mean less joint damage and less pain. Your doctor may recommend a combination of treatments that may include medication, weight management, exercise, use of heat or cold, and methods to protect your joints from further damage. See your doctor for an early diagnosis and immediate treatment plan!

Protect your joints
Avoid excess stress on your joints. Use larger or stronger joints to carry things. Assistive devices can make tasks at home and work easier. Staying close to your recommended weight also helps relieve damaging pressure on hips and knees.

Get moving
Exercise helps lessen pain, increases range of movement, reduces fatigue and helps you feel better overall. Your doctor, a physical therapist, or other specially trained health professionals can show you range-of-motion exercises and strengthening exercises that are good for arthritis. The Arthritis Foundation also offers water exercise and other classes. Contact your local office for details.
