I'm no doctor, but my guess is the sooner he was discovered and the sooner they can start administering antidote, the better the outlook. how old is he.? a toddler doing that my not fare as well as an adult might. was it discovered right away.? also if you look up the name of the pill and the rat poison you may be able to find anticipated side effects of ingestion.
