What would be the side effects if a teenage male took female hormones?!

Question: What would be the side effects if a teenage male took female hormones.?
Answers:
The usual female changes would be the most immediate or noticeable effect I'm sure, but there could be numerous other effects from it, and they're unknown because teenagers are not tested on those drugs.

There are instances when hormones can promote certain types of cancers, for example. Since all people make both sex's hormones in some amounts, taking female hormones early on might make your body make fewer of those hormones on its own, so if you stopped taking them later on, you could be off-balance and have too few female hormones on your own. I'm really just guessing on that, there aren't studies on it that I can find, but I do know a little about how they work, so it might be true.

For teens out there wanting to take sex hormones: Just wait until you've reached 19-20 or so, and then see your doctor and ask her/his advice on the matter before you go ahead. Stay in school because its probably a better transition to do away at college!

PS - the grass isn't all that green over here, dear ones...

Good luck :)
