I trying to teach my dad about the myths and facts of marijuana. I have come up with some websites already but i was just wondering if you guys have any interesting and reliable sources which i can present him with. And please, none of those 'marijuana just makes you stupid' types of comments becasue we all know thats bull$h!t.

I smoke weed everyday and I have the highest grades in all my classes and I go to school high ALOT. When Im high everything is slower and I have more time to react and think about things. It makes everything better. It fixes headaches, nausea, and alot of other things.
Weed does affect memory, but only while the THC is in your system. Contrary to popular belief, it does not cause long term effects. THC does not cause cancer, in some cases it can stop or slow the progression of cancer and tumors.
When you're high, you're in a better mood, you dont want to fight or cause problems.
The only really bad physical effect is lung problems and that only if you smoke it, if you eat it Ina brownie There are almost no harmful effects. THC does not kill brain cells, that only happens when you smoke it and hold in your hit(you're not getting oxygen to the brain) But smoking is alot quicker and easier. I chose to take those risks and thats my decsion.
Some arguments against it are the side effects, but there are legal perscription drugs that have much worse effects and yet people can go out and get them.
Alot of people are afraid of drugs and thats where all the negative stereotypes about drugs come from.

I used to smoke weed many times a day.. Then got sent to rehab for heroin and had to quit ALL drugs. Well, I was one who always thought weed was harmless too. Suprise, suprise. It is not. There are so many downfalls to this drug. Did you know that smoking 1 or 3 (i forgot the exact number) joints is equal to smoking 20 cigarettes.? Its true. Do research on the web (make sure your not on a pro-marijuana site) and you will get the truth. Believe it or not, there is more carcinogens in weed, as well as tar, than in cigarettes. It damages your short term memory, and over time it will damage long term as well. ANY time you are inhaling smoke, you are damaging your body. And as for weed VS. cigarettes, think about it. Weed you dont use a filter, and cigarettes you do. also, smoking out of a bong is no more healthier than smoking out of a pipe. The only thing it does it cool the smoke so it is less harsh on your throat. Marijuana DOES cause cancer.

May i sudjust norml.com .? also maby grasscity.com and look under the forum im sure they have alot of info that may not be " reliable sources" but its still true. its just much easier to find the info then go searching for every bit.
You must have a serious conversation with your dad and explain to him, i say prepare a LONG list of real FACTS, and also Facts that explain why or arguements against propaganda... basically you must deucate YOURSELF first to be able to explain it well to him.

my friend is a cross country runner and his personal record is 15:47 seconds for a 3.1 mile course... he smokes... someone please tell me how its bad for your lungs.? someone.? anyone.? yeah thats what i thought...
