What is a Holistic Practitioner?!

In very basic terms... They treat the patient as a whole. That is to say, they don't treat the symptoms of disease, instead they treat the whole person to try to fix the cause to the disease. Often pathologies are the result of many different factors in the body as all organs and systems are connected. The job of the holistic practitioner is to use different modalities to shift the body back toward homeostasis. Once homeostasis is achieved, the body will have a better chance at healing itself, depending on the pathology.
