How do i alleviate muscle tension (eyes)?!

Question: How do i alleviate muscle tension (eyes).?
Twitching, especially when socializing.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Ask your doctor as it sounds like you have a tic.? Is it that you are nervous & it makes your eye twitch.? In that case the eye is not your problem, your thinking is. Try hypnosis to help your confidence re socialising.

I've found this site really good & have kicked quite a few habits.

potentialsunlimited.com

Try how to be popular (it's about socialising)

also hypnosisdownloads.com but they have English accents.

Listen to the mp3 downloads for 30 days for them to work properly.

Other than that try squishing your face up to tense the muscles while in the toilets, do that for a minute or so & when you come out your face muscles should be more relaxed. also place the palms of your hands over your closed eyes for a minute & see if that does anything. If your eyes get tired from reading or computer usage, etc then look out the window or into the distance to focus your eyes on something distant every 5 minutes or so while reading or using your computer. But like I say, I think this is a psychological problem than causes a physical one.Health Question & Answer

If it's just tension, resting your eyes help. You can also take Magnesium and Potassium to help with the muscle health (they help quite a bit for tension and cramps among other things).
If they twitch in social situations more than other situations, you may want to consult a doctor to find out what may be causing it... it could be a form of social anxiety that would be a whole different ball of wax. If it is due to the anxiety, feel free to E-mail me and I can give a few other recommendations. Good luck!Health Question & Answer
