I really do not know, but my Doctor recommended it and then I found this Information.

I have Heart Arythmia's and this suggests that they can this Herb/Root, can affect the Heart (.?.?)

I think it is a risky herb to take, and would rather leave it alone. Some herbs being endorsed as having medicinal properties also have damaging properties as well. An example: Kava kava slowly damages the liver.
