Question: Natural remedies for sinus infection.?
My nose is so clogged and I get head pains, it's not a cold, it cleared up, now I think it is sinuses, what should I do.? I had it before and healed it years ago without antibiotics, but some tips are appreciated.Health Question & Answer

Nasal irrigation is the best approach. Antibiotics don't work. Doctors used to prescribe them routinely but they never really did work. Most sinus infections are caused by fungi not bacteria. Flush it out 2-3 times a day for 2-3 days and then once or twice daily for a few days. You should see a difference right away. Hot tea as warm as you can drink it with honey and a shot whiskey if you are of drinking age. Sounds weird but my doctor swears by it. I just wouldn't let it go too long without seeing a doctor.
