LSD makes you hallucinate. There's no way to explain this fully and it's different for everyone. However, most explain it as a much more colorful, lucid, geometric, and "breathing" world. It's very powerful and should be used with much caution.
Ecstasy is much less of a mind trip. Think of the happiest you've ever been. Multiply that feeling by 100 and make it last for 6 hours. also, you have the illusion that everyone is your friend and the sense of touch is heightened incredibly. Ecstasy is, in my opinion, the much better drug.
