What's are good meditation techniques to open the heart?!


Question: What's are good meditation techniques to open the heart.?
i'm not necessarily talking about the "heart chakra", as there are a lot of people with open hearts that don't know what a chakra is(children, for example). i would think that it would be better for the eyes to be closed rather than open. knowledgeable advice is appreciated.

i'm sure that this has nothing to do with dietary choices, codes of conduct, scriptures, or beliefs. thanks.Health Question & Answer

meditation is best done when you are at one with yourself,that is to be at peace. also quite surrounding is necessary so that you are not distracted. to open your heart start with clearing your mind of all the chatter in there, focus on your breathing.chanting is also a form of mediation, so if you are dealing with any particular issues you will get better results by repeating some affirmations. as for children try to make some positive affirmations and have them repeat those, this also helps the child to focus on something and that helps a lot.Health Question & Answer
