Question: Should i go 2 the ER or Not.?
I have a lump on my head in the back and its causing bad headaches, neck pain and im in a lot of pain due to this and i been sooooo restless these nights.....im not getting no sleep....i contacted the doctor and i have an appointment on 11.3.08 and i was wondering if i go 2 the ER will they give me something for pain.?Health Question & Answer

It is better to go to the emergency room and get checked out, you just never know what it could be, either way, they can run tests and can give you some kind of medication for pain. Plus if it isn't anything at all that will also ease your mind, so you don't have to sit and worry about it till you go to the doctor. I would still keep your original apt. with your doctor as well. I would go to the ER since it's that long until your appointment, especially if some form of trauma happened to your head.They can also give you some sleepig pills and pain medication and get you a cat scan done.Good luckHealth Question & Answer
