Question: How can I get to sleep without the use of drugs/alcohol.?

Half an hour before you want to sleep, take a valerian capsule and then put on some gentle, soothing music in your bedroom, or a meditation tape. Learn to relax every single muscle in your body in an orderly fashion, starting from your left foot up your leg, waist, torso, neck, head and down the right side. get a message. that always helps me. If you can't what I do is for that night just stay up late. later than usual. Then the next morning set an alarm and wake up really early this way that following night you will be tired. (exercise during the day) this helps a great deal.Health Question & Answer

I know it sounds all hippy but honestly i do it, and on day two i was so relaxed i sleapt like a baby. Its not all Twisting yourslef in nots either, if you choose the right type its realaxing, while exercise. Hatha yoga is real good, get a good book, and give it a whirl.
