Question: Whats the best method to acquire knowledge of herbs and their properties.?
i started out taking notes on all of these herb books and printing/reading all the stuff on the internet, but some contradicted each other and i dont know if what i know is true or not.Health Question & Answer

Sounds like your doing everything right. Even questioning which info is right. This is what I do, research, research, research. If I have a contradiction I check all info I can find and then go by the numbers. If I find a high percentage of research that say one thing and a low percentage says the opposite then majority rules. Just be sure your research material is credible. Don't use info that comes from a friend of a friend. Use herb books and sites. Although some books have to tell you that certain things are poison. Example: Poke Weed is poison. This is true, but people have been eating it for century's. It has to be parboiled, drained then cooked again. So although some things may be listed as a poison it all depends on how you prepare and use them. Don't use something you are not sure of. Use your common sense to see you through. If there is anything specific I can help you with I'll do my best, just let me know. I have been learning for years but I am by no means an expert.
