Question: Could marijuana help me medically.?
I have a pretty severe social anxiety disorder, am prone to migraines, and am clinically depressed. I live in Washington State and am 16 years old, but I've been resistant to every medication I've tried for these conditions (fluoxetine, clonazepam, sumatriptan, and others).

I'm aware of the negative side-effects, but I really need something to help.Health Question & Answer

There are thousands of medical users that use marijuana SPECIFICALLY for depression and and chronic pain (migraines) and definitely anxiety... I am a medical card holder in cali and i have really bad anxiety and i go to the marijuana dispensary's and buy sativa strains.. They help me so greatly and its so nice not worry now.AND since your in Washington your in luck.. since you can get marijuana there with a card. Those other medications you have tried... taking them are far worse for your body then medically grown marijuana that is very potent!! You do not use medical marijuana with mental illness. Especially anxiety disorders. It blows them way out of proportion. People with this type of pathology tend to freak out massively - you potheads out there will all know the type. People with anxiety disorders pretty much always react like this.

Oh. And pot will make your depression essentially untreatable as long as you're using it. It will not improve it beyond getting high. For some people, it can also make it deeper. The way that pot plays with the biochemistry in your brain does not play nicely with a system that's already out of whack.

And to be honest, it doesn't strike me as something that would be particularly useful for migraines. No idea if that's been actually studied though - that's just an opinion not backed by any science.Health Question & Answer

I believe it could help. It would definitely ease your pain. I've tried fluoxetine also and it didn't do anything for me. I have frequent migraines and headaches each week so I definitely know how you feel.

For the migraines, try going to a chiropractor to relieve the tension from your neck which might help trigger your migraines. For anxiety and depression, maybe you could try meditating. I wouldn't go straight to marijuana, especially since you're 16, but if all else fails, it wouldn't hurt.

Don't take marijuana to cure you. Since you have been taking medications already, i presume you already consulted a doctor for clinical depression , migraines or whatever is ailing you. Why don't you try going back to your doctor and tell him the medications given you has no effect on you. Or you may try another doctor. yes it could definitely help, there are several strains of marijuana that could help with anxiety and depression. You should look into a sativa strain of marijuana.

cut back on the sweets, starchy food, and the meats especially the meats, if you have to eat meat then eat fish and drink lots of spring water al least a 1/2 gal a day, cutting out the sweets and starch will help your migraines, cutting the meat will help with the anxiety( these things i know to be true) now you need to clean out your body even more and energize it. red clover tea is great drink a lot of it, burdock, yellow dock, dandelion,sarsaparilla, cascara sagrada. all these herbs can be found in your health food store like "whole Foods Market". Since your in school take half of the amount that they say to take of the dandelion and the cascara sagrada because they're going to make you **** or clean you out. Now foods to eat: no common wheat(this is what all the pastry we eat is made from( get Spelt wheat instead it comes in noodles,breads, rolled spelt(looks like oat meal) etc, stop eating the dairy stuff( if u want cheese they have almond cheese that's good), no soy anything soy is nooo good- if you want milk then drink almond milk, u could get rice milk but the almond is better, as in healthier for you. and yes the fast food have gotta go. now for faster releaf then you need to call dr. sebi's office at 3108382490 and they will send a nutritional guide on what to eat, and they alson have the products that will help you with your problem and you will see releaf, if you follow what they say, in every little time, like in hours.

And remember all those things i said about changing your diet is not going to just happen overnight, take your time and wean yourself because you are used to eating these things and many of which you have an addiction to, so take your time and don't stress yourself out. if you are going to jump into it and after a while you go back because of your cravings remember its all about weaning yourself cause your taste buds have been conditioned for the food you eating cause thats all your body knows. so give them a call and try some of the products if you can't get a cleansing package.
