The bible speaks to me of sacrifice. Which of my children should I use? Is there a protocol?!

It depends on the returns you are expecting.

A good rule of thumb in today's harsh sacrificial economic climate is to start with the least valuable child to sound things out, so to speak.

If you are not realizing the returns you expected, work your way up to the most treasured children, where the measure of value is usually their perceived ability to support you in old age.

The Bible condemns sacrificing your children (Leviticus 18:21). Even Abraham did not sacrifice his son to God.
