1) Despite what any skeptic on here has to say, homeopathy is one of the least expensive, most effective modalities I know of. I've had nothing but success with it. Two books to start with, so you can learn about this system are: Homeopathic Medicine at Home by Maesimund Panos and Jane Heimlich; and, Everybody's Guide to Homeopathic Medicine by Dana Ullman. Each remedy is under $10, (usually around $7-8, and available at healthfood stores, co-ops, many pharmacies and herbal shops, as well as from homeopaths.)
2) An even cheaper method is to teach yourself to wildcraft, cultivate, gather, and dry herbs, and to learn to make tinctures, decoctions, salves, infusions, poultices, lotions, creams, syrups, teas/tisanes from them. This is what taking true responsibility for your health would look like, for all of us, not just you. You'd be amazed how many incredibly gentle, but strong, potent, powerful and healing medicines there are in a field, sometimes even in your own yard.
3) As always, you are what you eat. (Actually, you're so much more, but you know what I mean here...). Really cleaning up your diet and putting tons of organic (if possible), fresh veggies and fruits into your diet, eliminating white flour and white sugar products and junk food, eating lean protein and lots of beans, nuts, seeds and grains (ie COOKING FOR YOURSELF!!!) will go a long, long way towards eliminating ill health from your life. It's not the full picture, in that I've found genetics to trump all the organic carrots, tofu, broccoli, brown rice and sunflower seeds in the world, but it does go a long way towards creating health. Add getting enough sleep, enough fresh air and water, and perhaps most important of all, enough exercise, and you will find your health to be remarkably improved!

well there are a couple of ways.
walgreens hsa sort of a rewards card for prescription users, it has a monthly fee, but cuts down dramatically on your prescription.
of its a generic prescription, wal mart will fill it for just 4 dollars.
in my opinion, that goes to show you how much money these pharmasuitical companies are making. if they can sell the generic for just 4 dollars, but the real thing is like 130 dollars..... come on.... and personally one of the medicines i take, they dont have a generic, so im out paying the 80 bucks a month for it.
