Is there anything I can take to regulate menstruation?!

Question: Is there anything I can take to regulate menstruation.?
I go months after months without a period and only get them about twice a year to even one time a year. I have been to the doctor and they told me that they can't find any reason why I am not having my period. They put me on birth control to regulate me and after six months of taking the pill I had to get off cuz I changed jobs and no longer had health insurance And they are still absent to this day. Is there any herbal supplement I can take that will help me regulate my period.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Firstly, you must balance the hormones in your diet.

Reduce consumption of all milk products as much as possible -- get your calcium from vegetables like turnip greens, chinese cabbage, dandelion greens, kale, chicory greens, collards, celeriac, and more.

Increase consumption of essential fatty acids, such as Flax seed oil (flax seed oil has the highest linolenic content of any food), flax seeds, flaxseed meal, hemp seed oil, hemp seeds, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, Brazil nuts, sesame seeds, avocados, some dark leafy green vegetables (kale, spinach, purslane, mustard greens, collards, etc.), canola oil (cold-pressed and unrefined), soybean oil, wheat germ oil, salmon, mackerel, sardines, anchovies, albacore tuna, and others.

Cut out all beef and pork products and eat very little chicken. Most of your diet should be whole grains and vegetables.

If you go to a qualified naturopath or herbalist they can give you a tincture with various herbs in it to help balance your hormones and get your period as well.

I'm confused. No longer had health insurance so had to get off the pill.?

I must be in another country, because I don't follow.

The pill is probably the best way to regulate your period, but I have no advice as to how to get back on it as I don't quite understand why you had to go off it in the first place.
