That joke just keeps getting older every time... Yes, Ginkgo can help most people with support for brain health which commonly shows in improved memory.
I've been taking Ginkgo for a couple years, and I could see benefits for not only my memory, but general cognition, focus in thinking, and just generally being able to think clearer. It took a few weeks to notice the difference because it was rather gradual, but within a month, I noticed a LOT of benefits from it.
The main reason that some people don't notice a benefit from it is because supplements give your body nutrition it's otherwise lacking... if it doesn't need that specific nutrition that Ginkgo gives, they won't get as much of a benefit as someone else who may be able to use it more. I'd say give it a shot and see what kind of benefit you get from it.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. No, I really didn't notice any difference from that, but I noticed a HUGE difference from lowering my stress and getting more sleep. :) That was a bigger help for me for sure.Health Question & Answer
