Answers:
No, not if your a healthy person (i.e not suffering from any acute or chronic diseases). Homeopathics are very gentle and safe- they do not contain any physical herbs to interact with medicines.

Check with your local homeopath if you have any concerns, they would know best.

To the previous reply I say - so too have many, many pharmaceutical drugs. There were 7000 deaths last year from interactions with drugs prescribed from the same doctor. How many died from homeopathic treatment.? None. Zero. Health Question & Answer

mankind has searched, unsuccessfully forever, for an aphrodisiac, none have proven efficaciuos. We have viagra and its cousins but they are not aphrodisiacs, but actually cures to a physical problem, and not all men can use them nor benefit from them, this concoction is a waste of money. since no herbal drug has been tested for safety, or to determine the right dosing, there is no way to predict its safety, and dozens of herbal/homeopathic drugs have been found to cause physical harm and to interact with other medicines and foods.Health Question & Answer

Jamazing is absolutely INCORRECT when he states that "no herbal drug has been tested for safety or for dosing". In both Germany and Japan, amongst many, many other countries, herbs are regulated and certified, just as drugs are: for safety, for potency, for dosage, for effect. There is voluminous research and historical use of herbs as medicines. The US, because of its many biases, chooses not to recognize much herbal research and statistics from other countries. It's kind of like an ostrich sticking its head in the sand as a herd of elephants tramples by. Remember, the AMA (and the FDA, for that matter) are trade and marketing organizations, NOT protective bodies. I can name you 25 herbs or natural substances right this second that are still used in modern US allopathic medicine to this minute, today. 80% of the US Pharmacopoeia used to be herbal or natural mineral in origin, mate, even as late as 1958 or later. Many herbs used as medicines today are also made from standardized extracts so that the potency of any given batch of herbs is both known and guaranteed. As your preparation is homeopathic, there is no way in the world it is not safe, unless it were to come from China or India and be adulterated with heavy metals or other toxic chemicals. If it's manufactured in the USA, France or England, I would have no worries about it whatsoever. Many folks on this forum would tell you the herbs or substances used in any given homeopathic preparation are so dilute as to not exist in that preparation any more, and they would actually be correct. Homeopathic medicine is energy medicine, however and I have had too much success with homeopathy not to believe it works. You will meet many, many skeptics here who will tell you you're wasting your money, and that you're intellectually suspect for even beginning to use a system as "scientifically bogus" as homeopathy. I do not concur, based on my experiences. In homeopathy, as a system of medicine, if a remedy is not the correct or "right" remedy, it simply won't work. It will not cause toxic side effects, which is a great part of its beauty. Please also note that in classical homeopathy, only one herb, or simple would be used. This remedy you're currently using would never be found in classical homeopathy. Herbal remedies have often been compounded throughout their historical use, as herbs have a synergistic effect (ie They work better when put together.). I have had good luck w/ compounded homeopathic cold and allergy remedies myself, but as with all things, let the buyer beware. There is a huge long history of damiana, eleutherococcus, pfaffia, rhodiola, yohimbe, cordyceps, cnidium, catuaba being used with sexual health and sexual dysfunction issues. It is quite possible to overdo yohimbe and eleutherococcus for example, but not with a homeopathic preparation. For your edification, first symptom of eleutherococcus intoxication or overuse would be a migraine headache. Yohimbe overuse would be similar because it has many caffeine like alkaloids in it, and is a stimulant. There are many, many other symptoms of overuse with all these herbs. Again, learn about what you're taking before you take it, and again, overdose, and therefore negative response does not and usually will not occur with homeopathic preparations of any herb. Extremely poisonous, caustic or irritating substances such as snake venom, poison oak and ivy, rabid dog saliva, arsenic, strychnine etc. etc. have been used historically and are still being used in homeopathic medicine today, to great effect, I might add. Lachesis is a snake venom that I have used multiple times in my own healing. So is white arsenic.Health Question & Answer
