Your questions indicate a willingness to abuse Ambien. There IS a possibility of addiction at higher dosages than prescribed. And snorting is just plain stupid.
When taken normally (5 mg a night or less), there are some who have problems but most are OK. Stop after a month or two, and it takes a week to get back to normal sleep. You MUST be able to get at least 7 hours sleep--do not take otherwise.

When taken as normal ... you will get a normal nights sleep, you see the drug helps turn off the part of the brain that keeps you active during the day! and you need to get a full 7-8 hrs of full rest!
At higher doses you will sorta be in "lala-land" your brain is trying to sleep and your body is doing things! and at to high of a dose it will cause DEATH weather it be snorted or ingested! When i was in highschool, i took more than prescribed and i went to the restaurant i was working at during that time and everyone told me i was moving really slow. It seemed that everything was moving real slow (like time itself slowed down) to me. I also had lapses in memory for short periods of time, I remembered getting a drink inside and the next instant i was out back by the dumpster throwing up. Throwing up was another side effect. The first effect you will usually see is double vision, because your eyes will get so tired they will have trouble lining things up. We use to drink massive amounts of caffine when taking it so we just didn't pass out. I take it every night and I don't see any dangers if taken as prescribed. It is habit forming and you'll become addicted if you take a higher dosage. Don't know a thing about snorting it. Just don't go out driving after you've taken it.Health Question & Answer
