for me it would depend on the type of the dress. if the therapist was dressed in an attractive robe like a magician or a wizard i could handle that and probably find it very charming really. i do like magical things.
but generally i think most people would find a man in a dress very confronting and yes for professional purposes, i think standard male attire is probably best adhered to. best not to risk freaking the customer out.Health Question & Answer

What's wrong with a guy in a dress.? I don't understand why everyone says they would be upset over it. I have several M2F transsexual friends, and most of them wear dresses. My first piercing came from a guy wearing a kimono, with his long hair in elaborate knots. If someone can do their job properly, they can come to work wearing whatever they want.Health Question & Answer
I would be concerned and prolly stop treatment with that person. Is the therapist coming to therapy in the dress or have you just seen him out in his dress attire.? I would think the therapist had some unresolved issues and I wouldn't be confident he/she could help me.Health Question & Answer
Since an alternative therapist is almost certainly a scam, I think a man in a dress is completely appropriate. Health Question & Answer
