Any physical therapists out there?!
Question: Any physical therapists out there.?
Any physical therapists out there.?
I have researched some schools within the last 10 min. It seems you need an undergraduate degree first is that so.? I originally was looking into school for this, when I got sucked into a nursing program at a local school. The program will require me to wait another 3 years or so for a career in nursing (on top of the 3 I have already completed) I am an LMT for the past 6 years/ and a Personal Trainer with a passion for anatomy and Science/health.
My question is do I complete the BS in Health at my current school and try to get in a Masters program to be a PT somewhere.? How do I go about this step by step.? What do I need to know or have to look forward to.?
PS there is a PTA program at my school. Should I consider doing this.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Do not get a masters degree get a doctrine it takes the same amount of time. In physical therapy there is something called Vision 2020 and all physical therapists will be required to get a doctrine to pratice starting year 2020. If you get a masters right now you can still practice after 2020 but I would personally get my doctrine you will learn more in the same amount of time. After I get out of PTA school I plan to get a BS in health sciences and apply for PT school. I am personally going to get my PTA degree first and plan to work for a little while before I get my bachelors. Most PTs I have talked to have around $80,000 dollars in student loans so you need to think about that.Health Question & Answer
