Answers:
Alfalfa has a lot of good minerals in it so if your cramps are made worse by low minerals it could help. It also makes the blood a little thicker but that shouldn't be a problem.

Raspberry leaf tea is also full of good minerals. It also has some positive effect on the uterus so in this case I would say it would be the better choice. Best to drink it all the time and not just one week out of the month.

No reason why a 13-y-o couldn't take either one; they're perfectly safe. Both teas taste sort of green and herby. You might like them with a few drops of lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon of honey. Drink hot if you're cramping. The rest of the days, drink iced if you like.Health Question & Answer
