How can I improve my posture ?!


Question: How can I improve my posture .?
It has became such a bad habit for nearly 20 years, I tend to put upper body weight on belly or something, I know its bad for intestine, and other health concern. Is it too late to fix my bad habit.? How .? Please help me. When I walk straight, I feel very odd and exposed, and unsafe .Health Question & Answer


Answers:
When trying to stand up straight, don't let your chest pop out. Stand straight, but make your shoulders relaxed and down (not in, not out, relaxed and down).
(pretend someone is pulling a string about your head)

To help straighten your back,
try lying down on the floor (on your back) and form a upside down U shape. The position should be held up with your arms and legs which will stretch and bend your back backwards so when you stand up, you can build the ability to stand straight.

You can also try standing against a wall. Make sure your head, feet, and shoulders touch the wall.

This could be hard at first but it helps you stand straight.

After a while, you will look much better than a slouching person, and its better looking.

Many dancers must maintain a good posture and the standing up straight figure doesn't look strange at all.

I also do that but when i realize i sit up but i think it makes people look confident . Just try to remember to sit up & don't worry people won't think of you as odd they will think you have good posture and look confident :)Health Question & Answer
