Question about taking multivitamins?!

Question: Question about taking multivitamins.?
I have been taking One A Day women's vitamins for about 2 weeks now. I take one after I eat dinner. I still end up with a sour stomach or feel like I may throw up. I thought that if I gave it some time my stomach would get used to it.

Does this eventually go away.? Does anyone have any recommendations to prevent getting an upset stomach.?Health Question & Answer

I would suggest trying it for a day or two right at the beginning of your meal to see how your stomach feels. If you're taking it at the end of the meal, it's possible that you're already full when you finish eating, then adding the water and pill just puts your stomach over the edge (makes you overly full) and it gets upset.

If that doesn't help and it's still upset after doing that once or twice, it's possible that you're allergic to one of the ingredients. It's rare and it sucks when it happens, but it happens... I should know, I'm allergic to Zinc. If your body was adjusting to it, it would have finished adjusting (or at least felt better) within a week's time... any more than that and it's most likely an allergy or sensitivity.
If you are allergic, you could consult an allergist to see if they can pinpoint which nutrient it is that you're allergic to and that would probably be the best way to find out. Good luck!Health Question & Answer

Although I'm sure the vitamins are great, I always had the same result with the one- a- day formula, I switched to GNC gold label brand and was really happy with the results, especially the B complex which helps to use the food you ate into energy and never felt quesy after.Health Question & Answer

One a Day isn't a whole food vitamin and thus your body may not recognize it as food and thus not be digested.

I would go for a good whole food vitamins. here is one I found to work for me. http://www.realfoodnutrients.com/HB/home...Health Question & Answer
