A physician can check the patients health history using the computer, test given, prescriptions, dosages,etc.
It's up the the patient however to rely on their own homework not necessarily with computers or even using computers themselves. Keeping track of appointments, prescriptions prescribed, personal health records for yourself. Using a computer can help retain and gather information more efficiently.
