Does anyone know what is magnesium phosphoric?!

Question: Does anyone know what is magnesium phosphoric.?
My toddler has severe episodes of leg pains several times a night. I came across 'homeopathic magnesium phosphoric' as a possible cure of growing pain in one website. Does anyone what this is.? Do you give this to people with magnesium deficiency.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Homeopathic remedies are not used to treat deficiencies. They are used to relieve the symptoms which the original substance is made. This particular remedy is actually considered a cell salt which is used for spasms and cramping. Because it is taken in homeopathic doses, it is said to work at a cellular level. Cell salts are sometimes used to treat deficiencies however, just because mag phos is useful, does not mean that your toddler is deficient. Cell salts are very safe because of the potency. If magnesium is a concern, feed your toddler more magnesium rich foods like leafy greens rather than a magnesium supplement. Mag phos is safe to give to toddlers.Health Question & Answer

First off did you toddlers doctor tell you that your child had a magnesium deficiency.?

If the answer is yes then your doctor also should have told you how to raise it naturally.

Second question is. Why does everyone think babies and toddlers need to be medicated for this or that.?

Your child depends on you to him/her healthy and safe. You should really be talking to your doctor about this and not taking advice from non-professionals.Health Question & Answer
