Nature made or spring valley vitamins?!

Hi Chei. I just checked the ingredients on some of the multi-vitamin/mineral products from both of these companies. Sadly, both companies produce products that must be considered in the "junk food quality" of vitamin supplements.
First, both company's products contain synthetic Vitamin E (dl-alpha-tocopherol). This is chemically very, very different from naturally occurring d-alpha-tocopherol (that tiny little "l" means a lot).
Second, both products contain the cheapest forms of minerals (as oxides) which may be poorly absorbed by some, if not most, people.
Third, they contain many 'unnecessary' ingredients - fillers, preservatives, and food coloring agents.
So, these products fail the "quality" test for many reasons.
You may want to look for professional quality supplements such as products from Thorne Research or Pure Encapsulations.
