i have the same problem.
my hands in the winter get red cracked and ruff. if you use alot of hand cream daily and dont wash your hands with cheap soap is might help. also when you go out in the cold make sure you wear good gloves because the cold will make them dry out more.

hope this helps-_oHealth Question & Answer

your dad is paranoid. if something is wrong it needs to be checked out. you've already tried lotions and exfoliating..there's not much more to try on your own unless you try different lotions..gold bond healing lotion works great for me but i dont get red/brown spots like you. good luckHealth Question & Answer

i have had that. it is a very bad case of dry skin. mine went away after i went to get my nails done and she moisturized and massaged my hands or like 20 minutes and they feel great. i reccomend neoutragena hand cream and massage it into your hand for a long time.Health Question & Answer

Its cold out right.? so the skin has no moisture. Whenever you get the chance, put on some moistureiser. If this doesnt go away, see a docter. But give it a couple weeks, 2.?Health Question & Answer
