Help with my Symptoms?!

Question: Help with my Symptoms.?
Hi, I'm 21 male uk, otherwise healthy until a week before xmas I was taken into hospital with a rapid heart rate of 150, eventually after the rate went back to normal (after a week), and I'd recovered from a fever (after about 3days) I was allowed home, since then I've been having big heart palpitations, been short on breath (i.e. can't get my second breath, or have to try and get it about 100 times) and my hearts been as high as about 120 since, the doctors aren't sure what it is, I've had clear ECG's, clear ultrasound on my heart, it all came back fine, So they said it must have been a bad virus! I feel pretty tired most of the time and it's really worrying me as I can't seem to do much because this happens, so I've been having to sit in and struggle to do physical exercise, sometimes even if I walk I can start feeling this in my chest, my pulse goes through the roof and starts pounding, I feel like I have to lie down ( The feeling of getting up too quickly when blood rushes to your head happens so I must lie down) and I get shortness of breath, Please if anyone has the same or is a doctor or knows the same, can you help and maybe give me a small diagnostics, Thank you!Health Question & Answer

Hi babes,

What a terrible time you are having you poor darling!

Do you think that the stress and worry of this situation is exacerbating your asthma which in turn is panicking you which in turn is causing a rapid heart beat.?

If your answer to that is a resounding NO, then I do think you should go back to see your GP or if he isn't likely to help you go to A&E/ER.

You should be on medication which slows strengthens and regulated the heartbeat,Digoxin is often the drug of choice.

It needs to be assessed though sweetheart. You need to have a 24hr tape monitoring your heart so that they can see what is happening.

Don't suffer in silence, you could be living a perfectly normal with the right medication.

I hope this helps.
