Are more younger women getting breast cancer in there 20 and 30's?!

Question: Are more younger women getting breast cancer in there 20 and 30's.?
Answers:
I know at least 7 women in their 20's who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
We talk about this a lot -- are people getting cancer at a younger age, or is it being diagnosed sooner.?

We all know what the pink ribbon means. Breast cancer is probably the most publicized cancer in the world. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of organizations dedicated to educating the public about breast heatlh care and offering free mammograms. This means that more women are being educated about what breast cancer symptoms are, and more women are able to get free or low cost mammograms, ultrasounds, breast MRIs and biopsies than ever before.

Again, does this mean that more people are getting cancer at a younger age, or is it just that younger people TODAY have access to better health care than young people 10 or 20 years ago.? Maybe a little of both.Health Question & Answer

No, there's no evidence that breast cancer incidence is increasing in younger women.

The statistics remain the same: 80% of those diagnosed are over 50, around 5% are under 40 and 0.1% are under 30.Health Question & Answer
