Why can't diabetics use smooth away hair removal?!

Question: Why can't diabetics use smooth away hair removal.?
if anyone knows why you cant use that smooth away stuff if you have diabetes could you please tell me why.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
that is a case of COA or "cover our a**" If you have no skin lesions or scratches, I see no reason for you to not use any hair removal stuff on the market.

The active ingredient in Hair Removal products is also the main active ingredient in Permanent Waves! Are you also being told not to get your hair curled.?.? No. It is because if there are any scratches or lesions on your legs it would for one thing possibly get infected and for another it would hurt like allmightyblazes!!

Almost everything on the market has that little COA on it. I am truly surprised that shampoos, conditioners, lotions, bath oils, bath soaps, all don't have that COA on them as well.

Use these things at your best judgement. I was told not to use underarm Deoderant or Antiperspirants too when I became diabetic!! A whole bunch of hooey!!Health Question & Answer

When diabeetes is uncrontrolled for long periods of time it can lead to neuropathy, where the nerves die.

This means anything that could burn you wouldn't feel, and would cause a lot of damage undetected.

If your skin is intact, and your nerves are okay, there's no reason not to use it.Health Question & Answer
